so brittany and i decide to go out for dinner tonight. we ended up going to Univeristy Cafe, a small mom-and-pop chinese restaurant. we sat down at a table near the sofas and began to eat. my back was facing the sofa, but i oddly felt that there was someone behind me. i quickly and carelessly checked to see; no one was there. later this man came and asked us if he could sIt at our table. we said yes and carried on with our conversation. in the middle the man say "can i tell you something. one thing. one thing." He goes on to tell us 1)how were should live our lives, 2)that he is dying and is an alcholic, 3) he's white and black 4)suggest that brittany is a little white naive girl, 5) he does not have nappy hair, 6) that he lived in the south when the KKK was prevalent, and that the N***ers were going down, 7) the us should not give other countries money, 8) he was a computer genius in 1976, 9)that i was pretty and brittany was beautiful, 9) that i was really beautiful, 10) he "can speak thress languages. portugese, chinese, and russian" (ok...english isnt a language), 11)we should "kick it" some time, 12) he did not by dinner b/c he was hungry and admitted that he saw us from afar, sat right behind me (on the sofa) to check us out, and bought dinner so he could talk to us.
then he gave us his number.

i am doing everything in my power not to study for finals. i would like to declared that i am officially fucked for school.
in other news, erik and i have been together for 5 monthes. it may not seem like a huge deal, but the 3 month hump is OVER!
things i hate at this moment:
1) procrastination: finals = study = obigation = sucky
2) tummy ache from drinking too much liquids
3) NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE RACHEL OR SABS
4) my low-hanging ass
5) a certain someone
6) the way my butt feels after a mean poop!

yay!!! i finally have internet! thank you erik <3.
so two week i went to usc to visit sabrina. i got lost for 2 and 1/2 hours. it was awesome! so there we went to bodyworks to look at dead ppl and from there we went to rosco's..mmmmm (sabs got the most awesome hot chocolate)! and the day after we woke up and watched this surfing movies with a bunch of hootchies...sadly we liked it. that was a weekend that was much needed.
school is school and really havent been up to much. i find my self going to class (sometimes), cooking often, cleaning all the time, watching oprah during the days after cooking and cleaning, and waiting fom my husband to come back from work.
i need to acutally need to do homework. |

so im finally in riverside, and it feels so good. i cant tell you hoow great of a day it was...just simple things that make life worth every second, like the guy who took money out of his tip jar to help buy us dinner. erik helped me move in, and it took us literally hours to assemble my shelving unit...it was exhausting, but fun. got rootbeer floats at aw (my new favorite place)...and helped rhodel (erik's ra) set up for the incoming residents.
i was fretting over this coming year, i thought that i was gonna become burned out by the first day of school, and thought that the thing with erik and i would end (b/c nothing this good could happen to me)...but in fact, my views for next year have made a total 180. im excited to live with brittany, seeing my friends, seeing stephanie and julia, spending time with erik (& eric), and attending my first engineering course.
i hope my my ambitions for next year wont fade, and with the friends i have here and at home they wont.
good god i smell. |

four more weeks and then im gone...forever. this wednesday will be the first step in saying goodbye to summer (the summer that i NEVER got to have!!!). im "moving" in to my apartment for a couple of HOURS and then i have to go home again b/c of summer school, which end in 3 weeks. i have one week of summer b/c for UCR starts... ONE. that's so lame.

im infected with the west nile virus...i think i got it when i went to chino hills and/or riverside.
i feel so gross right now, and had to cancel all my classes that i was planing to take at uci...im not up to it at all and im afraid that i have to be isolated from ppl other than some family members. i CANT be even near my sister, brother, or dad b/c they havent been exposed to me...so yeah things pretty much suck.
i didnt feel the effects until late last night. i woke up and started crying b/c i didnt know what was happening. my mom drove me to the hospital and i got out later today. i suffer from chills, a fever, exhastion, diarrea, vomitting, and lying....yeah this was a joke. |

last night i got a call from hoai, and at first i though he was someone else so i was talking to him like he was cool or something, but then i realized it was him and he is not cool...

im stressing over my philosophy class @ the moment...and its a HUMANITIES class...i guess with my midterm coming up, i have a right to be a bit stressed, but as i think about it, its only one class...and next session ill be taking TWO!...i havent really gotten to see everyone that ive been wanting to and not enough of some ppl b/c they have to get jobs at coffee bean or have to go to costa rica...
ive been thinking a lot that im going to quit school, and run to alaska to finally become a competive lumberjill for a few years. with my winnings ill go buy a couple acres of undeveloped land and build myself a cabin near a running river. i will produce my own energy with a water mill, which will be very useful for heating my bath water. and for spending money, ill just carve animal carvings and sell them as "native american artwork" to naive tourists.
question: should i:
(A) buy chanel sunglass for approx. $280 (which ive been wanting for a year and a half...PLUS i get a 10-20% discount off!) with my own money?
(B) buy versace sunglasses for approx. $180 (which kinda look like the chanel, and i am able to also get a 10-20% discount on)with my mothers money?
(C) fuck it and just stare at the sun, so eventually my sight will be blacked out and i dont have to worry about sunglass (plus its free)? |

philosophy sucks ass...i cant help to feel incredibly stupid in that class...i just dont want to be that person that is inevitably in every class who states the obvious and cant think with any depth...who cares. i wont have to do any humanity courses after this summer for a while...thank god! i cant stand some of these ppl. this girl reminds me of carly valentine. she never shuts up. and ask an obscure amount of "meaningful" questions....when she get offended if someone challenges her, she reminds me of an erratic racoon trapped in a paper bag...she just squeals and squirms in her seat.
today erik gave me a cow (as a sign of affection), so im in the process of killing it... |

tuesday is the first day of summer school at uci, which means i have to drive down on mon to pick up my f**king $80 parking permit...i would just park in the campus village for FREE, but i was warned not too, and im too much of a sissy to park in the guest parking in the apartments....so yeah. anyone want to go to the beach on monday with me?
erik won a stuffed cow for me the other day, and its suppose to be the ugliest thing ever. but since i cant make it to riverside this weekend, ill have to wait for next...and i cant wait...he named it Poopy McMoomoo.
